The Robotic Application Engineer is responsible for integrating our vision software product with industrial robots.This position combines a system integration engineering and technical sales support roles. It requires both technical proposal skills as well as the ability to assemble, program and integrate proof of concepts. The position will work with Sales Manager (SM) and will provide technical consulting to SM.
This position will work at Chicago, WA office and will receive a month training in Seoul HQ.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop the proof of concept using CMES’s vision software to support SM
- Works with the SM team to identify and close robot vision opportunities
- Develop a operational manual for the machine vision system deployed to a customer site
- Expected to work at a customer site upon their request
- Fully master CMES vision software which grows and expands constantly
- Develop a case study for a machine vision application
Qualification/Experience
- Ability to present & demo technical products
- Working knowledge of computer programs – C and Java
- Working knowledge of computer networking
- Excellent technical document skill
- 3 years minimum of experience in factory automation as a system engineer
- No restriction on International travel
- No restriction on working on a customer site upto a week
- PLC experience is a plus
- Robotic Program Language experience is a plus
- Korean language skill is a plus
- Logistics, Packaging, Supply Chain experience is a plus
